Kira
Kira has been with me throughout all of grad school. She's a very special rescue who's never met a stranger. A big fan of cuddles and long walks, we've taken lots of dog classes and tried several sports together. She completed advanced obedience, is now in advanced agility and is almost ready for competitions (the seesaw is our only obstacle left to master), and we even tried dock diving one summer, but I quickly learned that was not her calling...

Turtle
Turtle is my current lease horse! :) I grew up riding horses but stopped when I started undergrad. In the past few years, I've taken the sport back up again and am saving up for my own horse. Turtle is a very knowledgeable warmblood who is a former international eventer, so in the meantime, he's teaching me lots about how to be a more competitive jumper! Stay tuned as we start competing in some regional show jumping events.
